You must be a U.S. resident or have a valid passport or immigration card. The current fee for a license is $93.50. If you have taken the State approved pre-maritial course the cost is $61.00 You must have vaild ID: Drivers License, State ID, Military ID or Passport. You must have a valid social security card. There is a 3 day waiting period for Florida residents. (The waiting period is waived if you have taken the pre-maritial preparation course) There is no waiting period for non-Florida residents with proper ID. A marriage license is only valid for 60 days. Your marriage license is valid anywhere in the State of Florida.
